Troy "Korn" Kehoe

Troy “Korn” Kehoe is a founding member and Vice President of Product Development for Check-6 Training Systems. Korn established Check-6 Training Systems in 2009 as the technology division of Check 6, Inc. After recognizing the benefits which would be achieved by bringing a knowledge of learning management and simulation to other industries, Korn and other members of Check-6 set forth to create a company that could do just that.

Prior to joining Check-6, Korn worked for Corsair Engineering. At Corsair he assisted in the design and development of integrated learning management systems for Lockheed Martin, specifically on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program. Before Joining Corsair Engineering, Korn was a first officer with American Airlines operating the MD-80 aircraft.

Korn was a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps serving over 9 years on active duty and 2 years in the reserves as a Naval Aviator flying the AV-8B Harrier and C-12 aircraft, respectively. During his military career, he deployed in support of numerous operations and attended several professional schools. Korn graduated from the Naval Safety Center’s Aviation Safety Officers course and holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Southern California.
